20 Feb Dance Groups Remember Fr. Dogias at FDF Afterview

This past Sunday the Annunciation community honored on Sunday the 40 day memorial of Fr. Demetrius Dogias.

Towards the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service was held amidst dozens of young faces who gathered around the kollyva to pay their respects to their former spiritual father.

Representing the Annunciation community, Fr. James Retelas and Parish Council President, George Dariotis, presented an icon of Christ the High-Priest along with a bouquet of flowers to Presbytera Eleutheria and family.

Following the service, breakfast was offered in the Hellenic Center as parents, children, and countless spectators watched with enthusiasm the performances presented by the community’s dance groups, who under the leadership of Steven Kivetos recently returned from a successful campaign at FDF.
