21 Jul Passing of Marilyn Demas

It is with great sorrow that we share with all of you the tragic passing of the servant of God, Marilyn Demas, from this life unto life eternal. She passed away this afternoon from a severe cardiac episode. Marilyn was a champion of the Faith, best known for her selfless, evangelical service to the Annunciation Orthodox Bookstore where she practiced her outreach 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, for years on end. On our matronal feast of the Annunciation of the Mother of God this year, Marilyn received the Medal of St. Paul together with her husband, Leonidas, which is the highest honor bestowed upon a layperson by the Greek Archdiocese.
